"Tractors were coming in. And a lot of the farmers that was able, pretty good sized farms, they'd buy tractors, you know, and then they was making it pretty hard for a fellow that was farming with horses to lease land then, you know, everybody wanted to lease to a fellow that had a tractor because he could get the work in quicker than a fellow could with horses. I really don't know how we did get our work did with horses though."
